Our course trainers bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. As registered mental health nurses, they have undergone extensive training in trauma-informed care. This means that they approach their work with a deep understanding of the impact trauma can have on individuals. By drawing on their specialist knowledge, they are able to create a safe and supportive environment for learning and healing. Additionally, their experience in designing and delivering training in the NHS ensures that the content is not only informative but also practical and applicable to real-life situations.
Furthermore, our trainers hold additional qualifications in EMDR, CBT, DBT, and dyadic psychotherapy. These qualifications equip them with a diverse set of tools and techniques to support individuals in their healing journey. For example, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that can help individuals process traumatic memories and reduce their emotional impact. Similarly, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) provide strategies for managing thoughts and emotions, while dyadic psychotherapy focuses on relational healing. By integrating these approaches into their training, our trainers offer a comprehensive and holistic learning experience.
Our course trainers are not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply committed to supporting individuals in blooming beyond trauma. Their multifaceted approach, combining trauma-informed care with specialized therapeutic techniques, ensures that learners receive the support and guidance they need to heal and thrive. Whether you are seeking to expand your knowledge or embark on your own healing journey, our trainers are here to provide a safe and nurturing space for growth and transformation.

As we embark on our journey of blooming beyond trauma, it is essential to understand and utilise the reflective model of "What, So What, Now What." This model serves as a powerful educational tool to help individuals process their experiences in a structured and insightful way. The first step, "What," involves reflecting on the specific events or emotions related to the trauma. By identifying and acknowledging these aspects, we can begin to explore their impact on our lives.
Moving on to the "So What" stage, we delve deeper into the significance of the identified experiences. This phase allows us to analyse why these events have affected us the way they have and what insights we can gain from them. It's an opportunity to connect the dots between past traumas and present behaviors or beliefs, fostering a deeper understanding of ourselves and our growth journey.
Finally, we arrive at the "Now What" stage, where the real transformation and growth take place. In this phase, we consider how we can apply our newfound insights to positively impact our lives moving forward. It's about setting goals, making changes, and actively choosing how we want to shape our future beyond the limitations of our past traumas. By consistently applying the "What, So What, Now What" reflective model, we can navigate the healing process and empower ourselves to bloom beautifully beyond the constraints of our previous experiences.
